What I offer

Regular meetings and check-ins are an essential part of the coaching process. We will generally meet weekly and I offer sessions in-person, online, or by phone. Check-ins are client-initiated via e-mail or by text message and allow the client to report on progress or concerns between coaching sessions.

Before the coaching process begins, I meet with the client for an initial session that addresses issues such as the needs and expectations of the client and of the coach, fees and payments (*coaching services are often not covered by traditional health insurance) and anticipated length of time for the coaching contract.

The first coaching session is typically an in-depth, 1–2 hour meeting to allow clients to reflect what they might want to work on and to develop clear, long-term goals to guide future coaching sessions. Regular coaching sessions generally last 45-60 minutes. Each session is structured to report progress on the previous week’s goals, reflect on factors enhancing and inhibiting progress. The client then will identify our focus and together we will address their concerns and/or develop a step-by-step plan for identifying and achieving the client's new goal.
